Was founded with one goal in mind: to unite parents in Texas, in the fight to advocate for our children. Our journey began with a small group of passionate parents who saw the need for support and collaboration in our community. Today, we’re a growing network that’s committed to providing resources and advocacy in Lancaster ISD abroad.

Our Team

Chenique Lewis

Hello My name is Chenique Lewis. I am Administrator number 2. I have a certification in Business Administration, 50 plus hours in social work and psychology. My education journey paused in 2014, due to legal injustice with my oldest daughter.
In 1996 I had my first run in with systemic injustice, again in 2014. From 2015 through 2019 was my authenticating experience in Education Injustice. I have been doing Family Advocacy since 1998. My expertise specializes in CPS, Guardianship, Mental Health, and now Education Advocacy and Reforms. I have worked with an learned from attorney’s, political specialist and more. Due to this path of events has caused me to become the owner of Anointed Restoration Agency and now I am one of the founding partners of Lancaster ISD Parent Support.
In becoming one of the CEO’s of Lancaster ISD Parents Supporting Parents, it has been a passion to serve parents in multiple areas. Empowering and Executing Educational Resolve for the students is my/Our number one goal as a group. Specifically students with disabilities however General education student are served also. Families from all walks and backgrounds is the root of what this group serves. We Deal with the Difficulties that the District dont face. We have a host of other organizations that we work with to aide and assist us. We serve and pursue Resolve in Peace.
I have 4 children they have branded me into this arena. The age of my children are 27,17, 15 and a vibrant 8 year old. Due to the journey of these four is how I gain legal and policy knowledge in the education arena, mental health arena most of all the arena of Family Advocacy.
I am diversified in the area’s listed above. I am a part of a guardianship reform group in Austin. I have spoken at several Senate hearings and frequent Legislatures Office advocating change of policy. I am over Community Outreach in my church. I have organized and worked several Community Events. I am now here for you.
It is a pleasure to serve with this group in pursuing Resolve for the Parents of Lancaster ISD. I look forward to accommodating You and your student/s.

Beatriz Resendez

Hello my name is Beatriz Resendez. I am administrator number 3. I currently work at a surgery center as a Front office coordinator. I have 4 children 16,15, 8 and 4. All of my kids attend Lancaster ISD. I became involved with the group when one of my children was involved in an incident at one of LISD’s schools. As a mother my priority has always been to protect my kids. And being part of this group helps me to help other parents in the same passion that I have in helping our children. Our children are the next generation and therefore we need to help them succeed. I also became a member of LULAC with the same passion to help others. My vision is to help anyone I can and be unified as one.

Jessica Jones-Turner

Jessica Jones-Turner has been a dedicated nurse for nine years and earned her Board Certified LVN status after graduating from Concorde Career Institute in November 2014. Her career as a school nurse sparked a deep interest in advocating for children within the school system, ultimately leading her to her current role as an advocate for families.
As one of the CEOs of Lancaster Parent Support, Jessica is committed to educating parents on their rights, as well as the rights of their students, within the school district. She is passionate about serving others and believes that parents are the organization’s most valuable asset. Her leadership is driven by a commitment to customer-focused ideals and improving the user experience.
Jessica has advocated for numerous families, working to bridge the gap between schools, students, and parents. She understands that collaboration between all parties is essential to student success. Her work includes attending many ARD meetings to support families who may not know where to turn. Through her efforts, she has successfully aligned schools and families for the benefit of the students.
Jessica is also a mother of three. Her daughter is a graduate of Jarvis Christian College with a degree in Criminal Justice, and her two sons, aged 15 and 13, are students with disabilities. They are her inspiration for co-founding Lancaster Parent Support with two other administrators.
Known for her outgoing personality, Jessica has the ability to connect with anyone on a variety of topics. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys writing, spending time with her children, attending football games, and participating in church activities. Additionally, Jessica serves as an ambassador for BWB Boss With Business.
